Who we are…

I was born in a suburb of Chicago and moved to a small town in South Dakota at a young age where I spent my entire childhood and school years. While my immediate family and I moved to South Dakota, the rest of my family remained in Illinois. Living in small town South Dakota allowed my family and me to become a five sport athlete free of cost. On the other hand, my family back in Illinois could not participate in Athletics due to not being able to fund for the fees. This really motivated me enough to make a change so that every person, regardless of their income, has an equal opportunity to showcase their talents. Being involved in so many athletic events has opened my eyes to a whole new perspective about what it means to have a “family” bond with those who aren’t blood related. I want to bring together these communities and allow these kids to build a connection and find that “family” bond that a team creates. Remember, your success will change the outcome of those who come after you.

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Growing up in the Great white north exposed me to a lot of different sports from a very young age. I grew up playing baseball, and dabbled in a few other sports until I eventually settled on alpine Skiing. I played varsity in both sports in high school and learned an innumerable amount of life lessons from both sports. During my high school career, I saw a number of very talented athletes who didn’t get the same opportunity to play as I did because they didn’t have the money to tryout or be on the team. I have always been a proponent of being involved in sports, and i strongly believe that no kid should lose the opportunity to participate because of a factor that is out of their control.
